Indianapolis, December 20, 2006 – JohannTheDog.com, an affiliate marketing online dog specialty shop, is featured in this month’s issue of The Bark Magazine, www.thebark.com. JohannTheDog.com, in business since the Fall of 2005, is an online affiliate marketing site that brings together, in one place, all the cool stuff any cool dog would need. The article, written by Lee Harrington, author of “Rex In The City: A Woman, A Man and A Dysfunctional Dog”, is included in the November/December issue of The Bark, on newsstands this week. The Bark, called the “New Yorker” of dog magazines, has a circulation of well over 100,000 dog lovers nationwide.

The website was founded by owner Leslie May, president of May Marketing, Inc., a marketing firm that consults with and implements marketing programs for small and medium sized businesses. Ms. May pulled upon her 20+ years of marketing experience and her love of dogs to build a site that satisfies the needs of any dog lover and dog loving shopper.

The site, named after May’s dog, Johann, features many of the best dog products on the market, as well as photos of Johann and his buds around the world, a dog blog of his exploits, an event calendar and more. Johann was rescued from the local Southside Animal Shelter in 2004 at 12 weeks of age and is an accomplished agility dog and sheep herding wannabe. He is the inspiration behind the website.
