Beer, babes, and bacchanalia! Life in the dorm with the “College Guys” is a romping, rousing, everything-you’d-expect-from-a-room-full-of-young-male-animals good time! Chris Bailey, and his crazy collection of college cronies, including LSU Tigers & Chicago Bulls star Tyrus Thomas, cut it up and break it down, bungling and beer-ing their way through their college funds, in this mini-mobi-series now airing on SpellCasters Showcase, www.spellcasters.com, the premiere BB/mobile PPV VoD network.“We see a lot of traffic from campus “hot spots” said SpellCasters President M. Hep Sylvanus, “And the zany antics of “College Guys” should be familiar ground! Nobody goes to college because they like taking tests!”
“Broadband, mobile, third screen, whatever you want to call it…” says producer Bailey, “It’s happening! SpellCasters was the hassle-free way to get my show on the air!”
“All I had to do was send them the tape!” Bailey continued, “SpellCasters took care of everything!”
“We’re a different kind of platform,” explains Hep, “We provide complete services from encoding to streaming to paygates, for free to the producer.”
SpellCasters is built on a global datacenter network managed by QTS, formerly Globix, delivering smooth, strong signal across the planet. Paying some of the highest PPV splits in the industry, and providing platform services for free, SpellCasters has given the independent producer a turnkey solution for exhibition in the third screen markets.
“This business is all about rights!” says Sylvanus, the enthusiastic CEO of SpellCasters, “We don’t steal rights by running phony ‘festivals’ or make producers pay ‘submission’ or ‘listing’ fees. All of our content is under assigned rights contracts. We’ve been on both sides of the camera and we operate under a different set of rules than the other guys!”
SpellCasters Showcase offers viewers a library of content in a variety of genres from comedy and magic to sports, lifestyle to fringe video. Recently, they have added full length features to their line up. Viewers can choose to watch selections in streaming video or download video in formats for most mobile devices.
