December 16, 2006: ST. LOUIS, MO – Terrestrial Digital has announced a partnership with Trenton Distributors (TDL) to offer the company’s full line of HDTV antennas to home electronics dealers in Canada. TDL is the first distributor to make Terrestrial Digital HDTV antennas available to Canadian dealers.
“As word continues to spread about HDTV and digitally tuned antennas, we’ve seen a growing demand coming from Canada for our products,” Terrestrial Digital President Richard Schneider said. “Partnering with TDL will make it much easier for us to serve this audience.”
Schneider started Terrestrial Digital in 2003, after becoming frustrated with the poor performance of several HDTV antennas he had tried. He made a few for some friends, and word spread. Before long the hobby became a business, and the business took off. This year, Terrestrial Digital cleared $1 million in sales.
In the spring of 2006 Terrestrial Digital introduced The Lacrosse, widely regarded as the first mid-range HDTV antenna to combine performance and aesthetics in one package. In 2007, the company plans to introduce the Lacrosse Micron line, featuring three new compact antennas.
Terrestrial Digital has been featured in a number of top industry publications and received rave reviews from industry insiders, for its innovative product line.
