XandMail Mobile Podcast Solution goes live with L’Echangeur

Paris, France –December 16, 2006 – XandMail, the communication solutions provider today announced its Mobile Podcast Solution was selected to be part of the mobile platform of innovation of L’Echangeur, a European center for innovative customer relations practices.

Launched in June 2006, Mobile Podcast Solution allows users to receive the latest blog posts, listen to podcasts, watch video-podcasts, or display any RSS feed they have subscribed to, directly on their mobile phone, thanks to a complete range of push options (MMS, WAP, SMS…) developed by XandMail. The solution addresses content creators (bloggers, podcasters, photographers, etc.), companies who maintain a corporate blog, and the consumer market through mobile operators.
L’Echangeur has dedicated a demonstration area to IT to enable entrepreneurs to see, familiarize with and test a selection of the most innovative applications available today. XandMail Mobile Podcast Solution was chosen as such by L’Echangeur, and will be presented to managers and executives interested in mobile technologies.
From the user’s point of view, Mobile Podcast Solution works seamlessly: the user lists the feeds he wants to follow and specifies when and how often he wants to receive updates. He may also choose which posts or podcasts to push thanks to a set of filters. XandMail Mobile Podcast Solution then checks for new elements on the feeds and pushes them to the user’s mobile phone, in MMS, WAP, or SMS, according to the user’s timetable and selection.
