David Ritter Building broke ground in Hickory Downs Subdivision

David Ritter Building Contracting Inc is a house building company in the Triangle, North Carolina. Recently the company broke ground in Hickory Downs Subdivision, a new 167 acre subdivision located in Siler City off Hwy 64 heading east towards Pittsboro. Prices of the 2 to 10 acre lots in Hickory Downs range anywhere from $70,000 - $299,000. The business will be building a 5,000 square foot house located within the development.

David Ritter, President of the company, tells "In addition to building in Hickory Downs, we are also building homes in the Siler City Country Club, Chapel Ridge Subdivision in Pittsboro and Fellowship Church Road in Siler City.

I began my business in 1983 building one speculative house at a time. Soon the business grew to building custom homes and eventually went from having 1 employee to up to 9 employees and numerous subcontractors. Eventually, the business branched out and began developing land in Chatham County. During this time the company changed from a sole proprietorship owned by David R. Ritter to a corporation titled David Ritter Building Contracting, Inc", continues David.

"In addition to building custom homes, speculative homes and land development, the company also did commercial work, which included building churches in Chatham County. Recently, the company has focused its concentration on building larger custom homes in and around Chatham County. Notably our company has had much success in the past year expanding beyond Siler City. Since 2005, the business has built numerous homes in Pittsboro, Greensboro and Chapel Hill.

Over the years David Ritter Building has built all sizes and styles of homes depending on what the customer wants.
