Adventure Time has been nominated for an Annie Award in the category for Best Shorts. This quirky cartoon was created by Pendleton Ward, and the musical score was created by Casey Basichis. “Casey’s music is really powerful…in the heart,” said Ward, who is currently working on his new short, Bravest Warriors. “The music puts rockets on all the drama.”
Basichis will also be scoring Bravest Warriors. Ward and Basichis met when both attended California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Frederator Studios produced Adventure Time, for the Random Cartoons series, and will be aired this coming year on Nickelodeon.
