Advanced Media Introduces A Fun Series of RIDATA Character USB Flash Drives

Diamond Bar, Calif. – December 13, 2006 — Advanced Media, Inc., manufacturer and marketer of the popular RIDATA brand of recordable CD and DVD media, electronic storage products, and digital media accessories, is adding to its RIDATA EZ Drive™ lineup with the addition of five uniquely designed USB Flash Drives. Each of the elephant, monkey, bookmark, puzzle and uniform designs includes two additional USB ports, which allow users to combine each USB drive into a USB HUB and add on more mobile devices. The versatile drive has its own storage up to 4GB.

Offering true plug-and-play convenience, no external power or battery is needed, as the USB port on any compatible desktop or laptop computer powers the units. A power-saving mode reduces power consumption. The new RIDATA products are compliant with USB 2.0 with a full-speed transfer rate of up to 480Mbps. They are also compatible with USB 1.1.

The units work with the following operating systems: Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP; Linux™ Kernel 2.4 or later and Mac™ OS8.6 or later. Users for Windows® 98/98SE may download required drivers from www.ritekusa.com. All are EMC compliant meeting CE, FCC, VCCI, C-TICK, and BSMI regulations.

The RIDATA USB Flash Drives are available from 128MB to 4GB capacities, weighs less than 10 ounces and comes with a two-year warranty. Availability will be through selected retailers, RIDATA distributors, and at various online outlets. As with all RIDATA products, they are competitively street priced.
