Golfjunkie chooses Smilehouse Workspace to build consumer web shop

Finland/Netherlands, 10 December 2006 – Dutch lifestyle golf retailer Golfjunkie has selected Smilehouse’s Workspace product as the foundation for its consumer e-commerce platform. Golfjunkie, which sells its products via traditional retail channels, wanted to grow their business through online sales. With Workspace, Golfjunkie has been able to reduce the resources needed to handle orders while optimizing the ordering process and improving customer satisfaction.Golfjunkie had three key selection criteria for their e-commerce platform. The solution should be easily integrated in their existing website. It should seamlessly blend in with the overall look & feel of the existing website, since their young and trendy image is key for Golfjunkie’s success. And the solution should be open to future integration with ERP and back office systems. Also, Golfjunkie wanted a solution that incorporated all relevant payment methods for the Dutch market, including credit card payment and bank transfer.
