Jon Bon Jovi Anticipates Keynote Speech At CRS-38

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 7, 2006) – Jon Bon Jovi expressed excitement over his upcoming participation in the Country Radio Seminar (CRS-38) Keynote Speech. The Q&A, which will be moderated by WSIX-FM’s Gerry House, will take place Thursday, March 1 at 8:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40.“I am truly looking forward to my participation in CRS-38,” Bon Jovi said. “The success of ‘Who Says You Can’t Go Home’ at Country Radio proves how incredibly active and passionate the format and its listeners are. Since their explosion onto the rock scene in 1983, Bon Jovi has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide. Their hits including, "You Give Love a Bad Name,” "Livin' On A Prayer" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" have become some of the most recognizable songs in rock music history. In September 2005, Bon Jovi released the album Have a Nice Day, which included a collaboration with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles on the single "Who Says You Can't Go Home." The song became the first-ever number one Country hit for a rock band. The duet was also nominated for a CMA award for "Musical Event of the Year" at the 2006 CMA Awards.
