Paltalk www.paltalk.com announced today that it will be the proud
sponsor of this year's Malaria Business Leadership Confernce to be
held on Tuesday December 5. The Malaria Foundation in recognition of
Paltalk's generous contribution has agreed to name the conference The
Paltalk Malaria Leadership Conference.

The fatal disease that most commonly affects pregnant women and
children under five, kills 1 million people each year and takes the
lives of one child every 30 seconds in Africa.

The Malaria Foundation International (MFI) established the first
annual Atlanta-based "Malaria Business Leadership Conference" (MBLC)
in December 2005 (the video webcast from this inaugural event is
available at www.malaria.org). The main aims of the conference are to
help raise global awareness on malaria to unprecedented levels,
involve an increasing number of world leaders, and engage millions of
people at a grass roots level to help combat this disease. An
estimated 500 million people suffer each year from malaria, and over
one million die each year, mostly children. The conference is one of a
number of projects currently aiming to create a major shift in the
world's attention on malaria. The MFI aims to help create a sense of
urgency among people worldwide, demonstrate successes, and provide
various suggestions for how individuals and groups can play an
immediate active role in the world's fight against malaria. The event
reaches out to a broad audience, including scientific, medical,
political, business, community, education and media leaders to help
tackle this preventable and treatable disease. Mary Galinski,
President of the MFI said, "We are grateful that an orgainzation with
an international footprint such as paltalk has agreed to step up to
the plate and help us with delivering the message of malaria to the
worldwide community".

Paltalk is the largest Instant Chat (IC) community on the Internet
with over 4 million active members participating in live voice and
video enabled chat rooms. The Paltalk Messenger allows members to
administer their own voice and video discussions and instant message
(IM) with buddies on AOL, Yahoo, and ICQ. The Paltalk Messenger has
been downloaded over 40 million times and accounts for over 8 billion
voice minutes per year. Paltalk was the first company to launch video
and voice combined with an on-line buddy list in one package. Jason
Katz, ceo of Paltalk said, "We are excited to have the opportunity to
help the mfi in its important work and look forward to spreading the
urgent needs of those affected by malaria to the paltlak and world
communities".
