Shot Out AKA Mr. Jacksonville North Floridas recording artist.

E. Toriono Newkirk (Shot Out) was born in Jacksonville, Florida. As a toddler, he traveled the road and began his training the music business. In 1978, his stepfather, Wesley Phillips, Sr., of "The East Coast Horn Section" was hired by The Jackson Five to accompany their entourage on the road for 4 1/2 years. This is just the beginning of what would become of Shot Out.

In 1993, Shot Out began recording, entering, and winning a number of talent shows across his region of the country. He was inspired to release a Maxi single in 1998 to test his local market in "Filthy Nasty Florida" and also to get a response on his music. The Maxi Single was entitled "Shot Out" and featured his first two songs recorded which were: "Shot Out" and "It Is". He recorded a number of songs and submitted a demo to an Independent Canadian Label called Cyber Music. The A&R selected his Reggae influenced track "Bite the Bullet" which yielded over 30,000 units sold in Canada.

Shot Out released his first a1bum "Escaping the Crab Pot" in 1999. In this album, he ensured that his marketing strategies included CD's, t-shirts, bandannas, and other Shot Out paraphernalia. Through those marketing efforts, over 2,300 copies were sold.

In the spring of 2000, Shot Out began, working and recording his sophomore album "The Second Dozen" which is part two of his first product and has sold 3,200 copies. He also recorded, pressed, and sold 1,500 copies of a compilation album in the spring of 2002 entitled "The Southern Hemisphere".

February 2004 - 2005 Shot Out is making another mark with the completion of his 3rd recorded album entitled, "The Braille Album". He has sold 1,000 copies of his maxi single "What's Your Pimpin Like" and his state anthem "Florida Star". On March 15, 2005 he will be releasing his HOT new single this SPRING BREAK, SUMMER JAM of the year entitled (BEEP, BEEP, BEEP).

Shot Out has been networking and promoting his talent. Some of his accomplishments include opening shows, for big names in the music industry such as: Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Too Short, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, 69 Boyz, Mad Lion, Wu Tang Clan, Poison Clan, Bone Thugs in Harmony, Goodie Mob, Out Kast, Craig Mack, Juvenile, Cool Breeze, YingYang Twins, and Urban Mystic; just to name a few.

Shot Out is talented and accomplished Artist, Songwriter and Producer. He is also currently the VP of Marketing and Promotions for Bungi Entertainment
