NewSoft Cuts the Cord Between Laptops and Projectors with New WMS100 WiFi Adapter

FREMONT, CALIF., December 6, 2006 — NewSoft Inc., today announced its new WMS 100 wireless projector adapter, which offers presenters an easier to use, more cost-efficient approach to connecting to projectors. The WMS 100 allows users to eliminate the tangled mess of wires by wirelessly linking a WiFi-ready laptop directly to the projector.

With the WMS 100, presenters can broadcast from anywhere in the room, and also allows others access to the same projector when additional information is needed but may not be on the presenter's own laptop.

WMS 100 includes NewSoft's award-winning Presto! WMS sending software with a hardware receiver, and features smooth presentations with its high frame transfer rate of 15fps, so that viewers can enjoy excellent quality transmission of slides or images.
