Roanoke Rapids, NC is a growing town that will soon feature Randy Parton Theatre and Carolina Crossroads (a music and entertainment district), great shopping at the new Premier Landing Shopping Center, a five story Hilton Garden Inn, and the last stop on I95 in North Carolina before entering Virginia. It's a prime location for tourists and visitors.

Visitors and tourists, in the past have had to visit many various sites to find the information they need like attractions, recreational opportunties, special events, and local news. RoanokeRapidsLife.com takes the big step to providing this information for everyone.

It also provides an opportunity for residents to quickly and easily post news, opinions and special events; all at no cost to registered members.

"If you look at cities like Charlotte, Raleigh, or Fayetteville, they have a great online presence," says Gerhard Guevarra, the website's creator. "Roanoke Rapids needed a great 'front cover' that people can quickly see what it had to offer; it simply didn't have that yet."

The website is now open for review and will be open for the public starting January 1, 2007.
