A Mike Coykendall (Old Joe Clarks/M.Ward) retrospective to be released on the MastanMusic Hour FREE Podcast at www.mastanmusic.com

The Dec. 4 edition of the Mastan Music Hour Podcast, hosted by Jeremy Wilson (Dharma Bums/Pilot) and Sam Densmore (Frequency db/Silverhawk) will feature a career retrospective of Portland, Oregon recording artist and songwriter Mike Coykendall.

The show starts by touching on the earliest days of Mike's career as a high school freshman with "The Kids", then takes listeners through his psych pop days with mid 80's New Wavers "Klyde Conner" to his work with "The Old Joe Clarks" in the mid 90's and into the present including tracks from his recent Stereotype Records release "Hello, Hello, Hello" and brand new unreleased songs recorded with his current touring band.

Mike Coykendall has enjoyed a diverse and interesting career as a songwriter and producer. His discography includes collaborations with M. Ward, Bright Eyes, Tin Hat Trio, Beth Orton and others. He is a current member of M. Wards touring band and frequently tours as a solo artist with his Portland, Oregon based band.
