Ranee Mehra, M.D., Joins Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Medical Oncology

PHILADELPHIA (December 1, 2006) – Ranee Mehra, M.D., has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s department of medical oncology as an attending physician. Mehra’s clinical and research interests include lung cancer, head and neck cancers and investigational therapy. Mehra comes to Fox Chase from Yale University’s Yale Cancer Center in New Haven, Conn., where she was a clinical fellow in the department of medical oncology. Prior to this, Mehra completed her residency in internal medicine at New York University Medical Center in 2002.
She received her bachelor’s degree in science with a concentration in biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her M.D. from New York University School of Medicine.
Mehra is board-certified in internal medicine. She is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
