Making it Personal
December 01, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Caribbean Ocean Corp was formed six years ago when the then accountant and shipping manager refused to leave behind a business partner when his company decided to get up and leave and walk out on a verbal contract. Hugh Osborne took that Personal and has been taking his business personal ever since. Since establishing his company, Caribbean Ocean has gained recognition throughout the business as being one of the most personalized shipping companies to Jamaica. What alot these shipping companies measure is there bottom line. They don't realize what it means for the little lady out in the country to get her barrel of goods intact, or what it means to the struggling business man to get his goods to his shipper late in the week and have his goods on his shelf by Tuesday morning the following week. That allows him to sell his stock before his credit becomes due up here and pay off his suppliers. Thats what gives me satisfaction. I have been blessed to have my son in the business with me, and he understands the "make it personal" part of this business.
It is a real competitive industry, but you should never lose a customer for bad service. There may be other influences or factors that apply, but never due to bad service.
Caribbean Ocean has recently entered new markets in the Caribbean and strongly believe that the simple saying " Make it Personal" will take them into these new markets with open arms.
