Minnesota Realtors give back to the community in a big way

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota CRS Chapter will hold the 14th Annual Holiday Breakfast and Charity Auction on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at The Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley Minnesota. The organization is a group of REALTORS® who have attained the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation from the National Association of REALTORS®. The organization has over 700 chapter members statewide and holds bi-monthly educational meetings for the purpose of networking and sharing ideas with other designees.
Every December for the last 13 years the Minnesota CRS Chapter has contributed funds to local charities within the Minnesota community. All of the net proceeds raised at the December 7, 2006 Charity Auction will be divided equally and donated to the following five charitable organizations: Children’s Hospitals & Clinics, Children’s Miracle Network, Hope Adoption Agency, Hunger Solutions Minnesota, and St. Joseph’s Home for Children. Last year $20,000 was raised and distributed to these same charities.
The event includes a breakfast beginning at 8:00 AM with live and silent auctions taking place immediately after the breakfast. The general public, friends, family, clients, coworkers and vendors are invited to attend. Tickets are $20 in advance of the November 22 deadline, and $25 after the deadline and at the door.
