"We knew that pet owners from around the world were desperate for an online venue where they could come to get reliable and speedy answers and second opinions for their pet concerns from live pet experts" added Dr Homfray, co-founder of the service.
Customers have enjoyed the easy to use question and answer service.
Mary from Maryland, who was asked to comment on the service after she asked the 1000th question, said "Im not great with computers but the process was very easy. I entered my question on the homepage and followed the instructions to register and submit my question. I paid my refundable deposit and within one hour I had my answer. I had already seen my vet about my dogs problem, but I just wanted to double check I had received the correct advice. There is a minimum fee of $5 for the service but I chose to pay $8. Thats $8 for piece of mind, which is well worth it because my pet is definately a very important member of my family."
