November 20, 2006 was the launch of a new social networking site. Based out of Hortonville, Wisconsin this site was conceived by a couple of paranormal enthusiasts who were tired of searching the Internet for a place to call home.

"I was tired of all the websites that were available to me" said Alan Rupnick, co-founder of I Am Haunted. "Some were packed full of information and others had a few forums or message boards but none of them offered a place where you could interact socially as well as share information with fellow ghost hunters and paranormal fans." Rather then fumble through the Internet any longer, Alan and a few of his friends decided it was time to construct a home of their own. I Am Haunted has many of the popular features found at large social networking sites but caters to a slightly "haunted" clientele. Fans of the paranormal and skeptics alike will gather to discuss the topics of hauntings, UFO's and other strange, unexplained phemomena.
