ClickSpeed Marketing brings Buzz to Everyday Tradeshows

Overland Park, Kansas - 11/16/2006 - ClickSpeed Marketing took its passion for Marketing and thinking outside the box and brought it to tradeshows in a big way. In late October, Adplosion, the affiliate network from ClickSpeed Marketing, made a huge splash at the virtual online tradeshow Ecomxpo. Poking fun at its Kansas location, Adplosion provided a persona, the Great Adplosion (think the Wizard from the Wizard of Oz) and developed a 90 second video on their virtual booth that grabbed mass attention, and over 1000 visits to their booth and Youtube link. It was also shown as a featured booth in an email sent out to thousands by marketing heavyweight Adotas.com.
"We had to do something to stand out in a marketing arena that can sometimes be too stale and ordinary" says Ryan Zimmerman, Director of Marketing at ClickSpeed Marketing. "We had a lot of fun and created a lot of buzz with this and Adplosion has definitely seen the benefits".
At Ad-Tech New York, ClickSpeed Marketing kept the creative juices flowing by hiring a man on stilts to roam the conference, wearing a ClickSpeed Marketing Tee Shirt. Visitors to the booth were able to take a spin on the prize wheel and win such random prizes as Hot Dog Hats, plastic fruit and a can of sardines….and of course cold, hard cash. The biggest hit possibly of the show was Little Gene Simmons from the KISS cover band Mini-Kiss, who handed out business cards. "He was incredibly appreciated and worked very hard. He was a great asset to our booth", says Nathan Roberts, Account Executive with ClickSpeed Marketing.
Next up for ClickSpeed Marketing is the Affiliate Summit coming up in January in Las Vegas, and are planning on continuing their success by having fun and getting business done at the same time.
