November 19, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Sound Fighter Systems’ LSE Absorptive Sound Walls present highly-effective noise mitigation tool for HVAC professionals."The LSE System is gaining many friends in the HVAC industry." notes Sound Fighter's President Patrick Harrison. "Although the LSE System is well-known in the transportation and manufacturing worlds, its acoustic performance is proving an ideal solution to HVAC-related noise issues as well, including chiller and boiler enclosures, transformers, compressors and generators."
LSE Absorptive Sound Wall Specs
· The LSE System is fully absorptive, and is an ideal solution for HVAC-related noise issues. It has an NRC of 1.05 per ASTM Test Method C423-90a, and an STC of 33 per ASTM Test Method E90-90 and E413-87.
· Sound Fighter Systems can custom engineer and design HVAC enclosures for nearly any size application – ground level or rooftop.
· The LSE System can be designed for any configuration and wind loads.
· All structural steel is custom fabricated in Sound Fighter’s own plant. All welding conforms to American Welding Society D1.5 and Electrodes shall be E70XX. All fabricated steel members are hot dip galvanized after fabrication per Publication 408 Section 1086.
Harrison adds, "Whether it’s a rooftop chiller enclosure or a ground-based backup generator system, our customers have many applications where a proven absorptive sound wall will reduce noise levels to acceptable levels for their clients. Reflective enclosure materials like brick, block, metal or concrete simply can’t match the noise-eliminating performance of the LSE’s absorptive design. This acoustic performance, combined with its design flexibility and lightweight specs, create another valuable tool in the HVAC professional’s noise mitigation arsenal."
