Local South Side Pharmacy to add Walk-In Clinic

Indianapolis – MindGent Healthcare Clinics is pleased to announce that another Corner Care Clinic opens November 20 in the Low Cost Pharmacy, located at 4076 S. Keystone Ave. on the city’s south side.

The Corner Care Clinic offering is in partnership with Cardinal Health, the leading provider of products and services supporting the health-care industry, and is exclusive to the wholesaler. Low Cost Pharmacy already provides low prices to customers and the addition of a Corner Care Clinic only adds to its already undeniable benefit to the community. Since 1979, pharmacy manager Bill Shinkle and pharmacist Bruce Campbell have overseen the operation and care of their clients, but this new venture gives customers a more convenient and cost-effective health-care option.

“I have many customers who don’t have their own physician,” Shinkle said. “This allows them to seek treatment for minor ailments and be referred to physicians for more acute issues.”

Corner Care Clinics are staffed by nurse practitioners licensed to treat minor illnesses including bronchitis, strep throat, ear infections and flu. They can also administer several types of wellness screenings and vaccinations.
