PARTY ARTS SPECIALTY RENTAL FIRM SOLD TO JTB SITTING PRETTY, INC. IN ST. LOUIS

St. Louis, Missouri … Nardi Hobler Marketing Communications, Inc. has sold the assets and inventory of Party Arts, an upscale party rental firm that has served clients nationally since 1993, to JTB Sitting Pretty, Inc., dba Sitting Pretty, a specialty linen rental company based in Ellisville, Missouri.

Financial terms of the transaction which closed on October 16, 2006 were not disclosed. The sale includes all inventory in Party Arts’ 12,000-square-foot showroom-warehouse. This includes 400 Versailles gold ballroom chairs; 300 styles of elegant specialty linens and chair covers; hundreds of silver, brass and crystal candelabra; table lamps; diverse tabletop accessories; plus the firm’s office systems, laundry operations, client lists and other assets, including its brand identity and website www.party-arts.com.

Party Arts founder and president Nardi Hobler, CSEP, who has consulted at exclusive parties for Emperor Hirohito of Japan, Prince Louis de Bourbon and the movie actress Andie MacDowell among other luminaries, will be a consultant to the firm. Party Arts’ employees will stay with the company and report to Jill Burkemper, president of JTB Sitting Pretty, Inc. In addition, JTB Sitting Pretty, Inc. will contiue to maintain Party Arts’ current showroom/warehouse at 3252 Laclede Station Road.
