MINI – ME & OTHER CELEBRITIES TO ATTEND PITTSBURGH TOY SHOW!
Pittsburgh, — Orangestone Promotions, Inc., Promoters of Pennsylvania’s Largest Toy and Pop Culture Convention (http://www.pittsburghtoyshow.com) has announced very exciting news about its upcoming December 2-3, 2006 Toy Convention at the Pittsburgh Expomart in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Show Promoter, Dominic Alessandria states that “we are very pleased to announce that Verne Troyer and Dirk Benedict will be signing for fans at our December 2-3, 2006 convention. Verne Troyer is best know for his role as “Mini-me” in the Austin Powers movies. Dirk Benedict is best known for his roles as “Starbuck” in Battlestar Galactica and “Face-Man” in the Classic TV series the A Team! Both of these celebrities only do a limited number of appearances so The Pittsburgh Toy, Comic & Childhood Collectibles Show was very pleased that they decided to appear at this convention. A Special Promotion at the event offers fans a chance to get Dirk Benedict’s autograph for FREE with the purchase of an Exclusive and very limited Battlestar Galactica Action Figure Boxed Set.
Mr. Alessandria goes on to say that “while we are very excited about Verne Troyer and Dirk Benedict, we are also pleased that many other celebrities will be attending the December Convention to make this our best and biggest event yet!” Cindy Morgan, famous for her roles in Caddy Shack and Tron will also be signing. The convention will also feature several Legendary Classic TV Wrestlers. Fans will be able to meet Legendary Wrestler Bruno Sammartino as well as WWE Wrestlers Captain Lou Albano and The Iron Sheik. Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart will also be on hand to do autographs. Comic Book Fans will be delighted to meet Kris Kidd Productions, creators of Big Epsilon and Comic Artists Louis Small Jr. (original Harris Vampirella artist); Wayne Faucher (famous inker for DC Comics’ Batman) and Rob Granito (Teen Titans & Batman artist).
As another special treat for show attendees will be the appearance of Santa Clause and Girl Elf. Yes, fans will have a chance to get their photo taken with Santa or the sexy Elf Girl which will be located at the TimeandSpaceToys.com booth. (See website for details).
