Glendale, CA - Brian Billard, a dentist in Oglesby, Illinois, learned the truth of that old adage “it’s it not how hard you work but how smart you work.” Five years ago, he and his wife were working six days a week and staying late at night. Vacations were a rare luxury. Then, a colleague he met at a continuing education class told him about Sterling Management Systems and he said goodbye to the long hours.“The management training I received from Sterling gave me the tools I needed to go back and get the practice organized,” says Dr. Billard. “I found out how to structure the practice so everyone’s duties were clearly spelled out and all the problems were not coming to me to handle.”
As a result, he was able to double the production of his practice, while cutting his hours in half. Instead of working six days a week, he works now three.
“The most amazing thing is how much it has freed up my time,” he continues. “Since we have a four day weekend every week, my wife and I can pick and choose what we want to do.”
Having the office organized and running smoothly also enables them to take vacations when they want, something they couldn’t do previously. But it is not all fun and games. Dr. Billard also uses that free time to teach courses in orthodontics, for example.
“If someone is looking for a better way to run their practice and make their lives much easier, they should contact Sterling,” he says. “The program has really helped me achieve what I want in life.”
