Berlin, 16th of March 2005 - Testing Technologies announces the release of the new TTsuite-SIP Developers test solution ready for download at www.testingtech.de. The new flexible and highly integrated VoIP SIP conformance test suite features RFC3261 compliant test cases which are based on the standardized ETSI test suite for compliance. All 534 test cases for Messaging, Call Control and Register cover all critical test scenarios which are embedded in Testing Technologies flagship product TTworkbench. With its TTsuite-SIP Developers, Testing Technologies offers developers and providers a convenient tool for testing their own VoIP prototypes under tough real-life conditions based on SIP -Session Initiation Protocol.
"The test suite not only enables fast definition and execution of test cases against a System Under Test, but is also flexible and simple to modify, so it’s easy to change test cases or add new ones to the test suite environment," says Stephan Pietsch, CTO of Testing Technologies. The SIP test solution is delivered in Java but the Abstract Test Suite does also ship in TTCN-3. The concept of a test suite framework was driven by a clear users need for fast response to new and ever-changing market and customer demands.
Covering a vast array of test cases, the TTsuite-SIP Developers enables textual and graphical changes of the test suite in the areas of conformance, load/stress, integration and interoperability. TTsuite-SIP Developers consists of three main features embedded in an IDE: a TTCN-3 Core Language Editor for modifying the Abstract Test Suite; a compiler for translating TTCN-3 into Java, and a fully fledged Test Execution and Analysis Environment.
The TTsuite-SIP Developers is already being used by numerous VoIP vendors and VoIP carriers. Testing Technologies also delivers conformance test solutions for H.248 (MEGACO), M3UA, SUA and SCTP.
Testing Technologies, a spin-off of Fraunhofer FOKUS research institute, develops and markets universal and highly innovative test development tool series and solutions based on the standardized test specification and implementation language TTCN-3.
