Tempe, AZ – November 8, 2006. Rinkya Inc, the premier service for on-line Japanese shopping, announces their first doujinshi sale. “Doujinshi (self-published Anime comic books) is the avenue by which many famous Japanese anime artists and writers such as the Circle Clamp got their start”, states Rinkya President Heather Russell. “ It has also been an experimental creative outlet for established artists like Narumi Kakinouchi (Vampire Princess Miyu).“
“For many first-time collectors, doujinshi is an affordable introduction to Anime art. Unfortunately, for the International community it has become difficult to find doujinshi sources outside of Japan due to some of the Adult subject matter.
