Cowboy Fools Gather on April First

Cowboy Music and Poetry Roundup, which will take place at the Estes Park Center, YMCA of The Rockies, on April 1, 2, and 3, 2005.
Yup, we're gonna have a roundup of cowboys and their music and poetry, starting on April Fools day. There oughta be song or a poem in there somewhere.

the Roundup will feature some of the best western entertainers in the U.S. of A.
The Lazy B Wranglers of Estes Park have been performing western music for 40 years. They have performed for President Jimmy Carter, at the White House and at the Grand Ol' Opry.
Mike Logan, from Montana, probably the best cowboy poet out there. You might have seen him on the John Denver Christmas Special some years ago. He has been featured at all of the big ones.

Vic Anderson, the reigning Western Music Associations Champion Male Yodeler, also know for his whistling ability, singing and songwriting.

Ron Ball, of Estes Park. Not only does he sing and play guitar, he is a wonderful western artist.

The Yampa Valley boys. Humor and musical ability all at the same time. They are a ball.

Ace Ball, 40 years as a western and country western D.J. He knew them all and sing, wait until you hear the voice this man has.

Brad and Kathy Fitch, also of Estes Park, Co. Brad has been singing in the area for years. 10 years, this coming summer, leading the campfires at Bond Park. Kathy has recently joined him. Wonderful entertainers.

Bob Kinford: Cowboy humor so dry you’ll think you just went through a sandstorm. With over 30 yars working as a cowboy. Horse trainer and farrier his stories will leave you thirsty for more!

Troy Bateson, The Story Singer from Colorado Springs, Co. Troy does Christian Cowboy music.

The Rident Coyotes. Do you know what Rident means? Johnny and Susie are from Allenspark, Colorado and have been a part of the gathering since it's inception.

Did we save the best for last? Maybe, Liz Masterson and Sean Blackburn, lynch pins of the Arvada gathering will be featured Friday night. Everyone loves them.

The O'Brien Family Band, of Evergreen, Colorado. Full time musicians. This group is brilliant. From Dad, Mom and the kids comes some of the best music you may ever hear. The kids are yodeling champions, play mandolin, and fiddle and are champions there too.

There are many others. MAYBE ONE OF THE ENTERTAINERS WILL BE YOU. There will be ample chance, as there are several open mic sessions available.

Prices: If you want to stay right there at the YMCA, $119.00/adult gives you 2 nights lodging, 6 meals and tickets to everything, including a WRITERS WORKSHOP, which will take place on Friday from noon to 4:00. Presented by Robyn Andersen, published writer and Executive Editor of several magazines. She will read your manuscripts, but you must attend the workshop.
