WARE MALCOMB AWARDED EQUINOX FITNESS CLUB PROJECT

(November 2006) Century City, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior and graphic design services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s Los Angeles office is proud to announce that the firm has been awarded the Equinox Fitness Club project located at 2025 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, California. This project is being developed by Equinox Fitness Club of New York, New York.

Ware Malcomb is providing project management, construction documents and construction administration services for the Equinox Fitness Club project. The project involves the remodel of an existing two-story building totaling 25,000 square feet that will connect to the Hyatt Regence Century Plaza Hotel. The first floor will consist of a full gym, a salon, and the shop at equinox; while the second floor will include of a full-service spa, treatment rooms, lounge area, yoga and pilates studios. Construction for the project has begun and is anticipated to be complete by January 2007. The General Contractor for the project is Shawmut Design and Construction of Boston, Massachusetts.
