ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions Sponsors Great Gatsby Party
Local Communications Solutions Provider Named Corporate Sponsor For Fundraiser Benefiting The Multiple Sclerosis Society
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Rhonda Morgan, vice president of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions, a communications solutions provider, has announced that the company was named a corporate sponsor for the 18th annual Great Gatsby Party held on Aug. 26, at the Wachovia Atrium. The event, hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National MS Society, raised money to assist the Chapter in its mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Over 800 people took part in the event festivities, which included a silent auction, costume and dance competition, and big band music, as well as food and drink provided by a variety of local Charlotte restaurants. This year marked the 10th consecutive ATCOM sponsorship for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the MS Society.
“It was a honor to be included as a corporate sponsor for this year’s MS Society event,” said Morgan. “For years now, ATCOM has taken the opportunity to make charitable contributions to this fantastic organization fighting for the improvement of those dealing with this extremely difficult disease. This is truly a cause worth championing.”
“We were ecstatic that ATCOM had chosen to honor the National MS Society and sponsor our Great Gatsby gala,” said Anne Marie McDermott, Mid-Atlantic Chapter president of the National MS Society. Without corporate support like ATCOM, we could not raise nearly the funds that we do to help fight this devastating disease.”
