But they can only go so far in one leap and at one point get pulled forward to their future. Thus the 7 different time periods. Since each of the 6 past periods is dealt with in some detail, historical fiction fans should enjoy this novel almost as much as sci-fi buffs.

For purely historical fiction with a punch check out Mr. Becher's other unique novel, "OF SUCH IS THE KINGCOME, A Novel of Biblical Times."
