Las Vegas, NV – ‘Sit Means Sit’ trainer Tim Smith and his four-legged friends sure went home with tails wagging – this year’s Protection Sports Association (PSA) National Champion, Smith also won the National High Overall award for the second consecutive year. The ‘Sit Means Sit’ owner and head trainer from Contra Costa County, California, Smith received several other PSA awards including National High Obedience and High Owner Trained. PSA is an American-made sport that consists of a high level of difficulty for obedience distractions and a very high level of pressure in protection work. PSA is an un-patterned sport and distractions are different at every trial.
Smith, a graduate of Fred Hassen’s ‘No Limitations’ Dog Training and who has 10 years of experience in dog training serving the Bay Area, had the highest scoring dog overall at PSA the past two years in a row. Last year, Smith and his Pit Bull ‘Santos’ took home the honors, and this year Smith and Belgian Malinois ‘Moose’ wowed the judges with their training, scoring a remarkable 94% overall.
“I’m thrilled to have been a part of the PSA this year and am honored to receive the National High Overall award for the second year,” said Tim Smith.
Tim Smith owns ‘Sit Means Sit’ in California that services the Bay Area and the Sacramento Valley. For more information on Tim Smith and Sit Means Sit, please visit www.sitmeanssit.com
