WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES PROJECT AWARDED FOR MARTIN FURNITURE

Otay Mesa, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior and graphic design services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s San Diego office is proud to announce the award of the Martin Furniture project located at the Northeast corner of Britannia Boulevard and Britannia Park Place in Otay Mesa, California. The project is being developed by Martin Furniture of San Diego, California.

Ware Malcomb is providing architectural and interior design services for two build-to-suit furniture warehouse buildings, totaling approximately 211,580 square feet. The project serves as a Corporate relocation for Martin Furniture, a furniture manufacturer of home and office products that are outstanding in style, quality and service. The larger of the two Martin Furniture facilities will be approximately 107,680 square feet; it includes 88,680 square feet of warehouse space, 15,000 square feet of office and a 4,000 square foot shipping/receiving annex. The second building, totaling about 103,900 square feet, will be entirely warehouse space.

The Martin Furniture project will be located within the Britannia Industrial Park, an industrial warehouse park master planned by Ware Malcomb that includes eighteen industrial warehouse buildings and totals approximately 245,000 square feet over 17 acres.

Allen & Associates Real Estate Consultants of Del Mar, California is serving as Martin Furniture’s Construction Manager on this project. Construction is estimated to begin during spring 2007 and complete in November of 2007.
