Rex Jarvis Receives Renewal Status For Certified Golf Course Superintendents
DURHAM, N.C. – Marc Reynolds, general manager at Falls Village Golf Club, has announced that Rex Jarvis, superintendent at the club, has earned renewal for his Certified Golf Course Superintendent designation. Renewal, which was granted by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), required Jarvis to participate in a minimum of 100 hours of continuing education and professional development over a five-year period. Jarvis’ certification places him within a select group of approximately 2,000 certified golf course superintendents worldwide who have been recognized as outstanding and progressive in their position.
“We are delighted to announce that Rex Jarvis has received renewal of his CGCS certification,” said Reynolds. “This achievement requires a significant amount of effort and dedication. We are extremely proud to have Jarvis as part of our Falls Village team.”
