TorreyCommerce Debuts Product Ratings Technology

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — TorreyCommerce debuts product ratings technology across the entire network of home furnishing websites, including within the TorreyCommerce Network (TCN). This new technology adds to TorreyCommerce's robust ecommerce solution and enables consumers to better locate the right products for the lowest price online. "Our Shoppers can use the ratings as a real-time buyers guide," says Gavin Mandelbaum, CEO of TorreyCommerce. Gavin estimates that as many as 40% of TorreyCommerce's website traffic will use product ratings to influence their purchase.

Websites can customize their ratings around their products types. For instance, shoppers can be asked to rate the "softness" of sheets. Other features include rewards for shoppers who submit ratings, eg. entry into sweepstakes, thank you prizes, and coupons.
