This year’s observance will pay tribute to U2, Buddy Guy, The Pretenders, Percey Sledge, and The O’Jays. Artists become qualified 25 years after the release of their first album. Each of these artists is being recognized for their influence and impact upon Rock and Roll music. Also honored at the ceremony for their Lifetime achievement in the Non-Performer category will include Seymour Stein, Chairman of Sire Records, and Frank Barsolona, founder and president of Premier Talent Agency.
