March 10, 2005 – Sabadille Systems today announced that the integration of the popular D-Link DCS-900 Video Internet Camera allows users of their CardFocus suite of Photo ID solutions to capture images from any Internet-based location. This gives CardFocus users the power to access real-time streaming high-quality video from anywhere on the Internet using the D-Link camera. An affordable and compact web-based camera, the DCS-900 delivers live video over the Internet for real-time viewing and image capture. The D-Link Internet camera includes a powerful built-in fully integrated web-server that contains its own IP address and acts as an independent device that doesn't require a PC to operate.
“Images and pictures for photo id cards can easily be captured in CardFocus through a wide range of image capture devices, including webcams, CCTV cameras, camcorders, digital still cameras and scanners”, said John Slattery, managing director of Sabadille Systems. “However, the D-Link DCS-900 camera allows CardFocus operators in a central location to easily capture live images of Photo ID candidates at remote locations. Producing Photo ID badges at a central location using live images from cameras located at a number of other locations presents a very powerful solution for our customers.”
The CardFocus family of products, produced by Sabadille Systems, offers a comprehensive range of photo identity and visitor management software solutions that are powerful, yet simple to learn and loaded with useful features. While providing excellent value in software, CardFocus is so flexible that it improves the issuance and management of advanced photo identity cards for virtually any size and kind of organization.
