Southern New York Association (SNYA) launches a new website

New York, NY – October 21, 2006 – The Southern New York Association (SNYA), an organization of over sixty residential health care facilities, both voluntary and proprietary, with approximately 16,000 beds in the southern New York area including New York City, Westchester and Long Island announced the launch of its new corporate website. The new website is available for viewing at www.snya.org.The new website features clearer navigation, more focused content and a cleaner interface for enhanced member usability. Information about the Association, activities, news, and available services as well as direct communications channels between the SNYA departments and the membership are among the new renovations to the online presence.
Neil Heyman, Southern New York Association President stated, “The Association is committed to ensuring its continued success and development as a resource and communication conduit for the membership. The web site will not be a static site and will continually evolve in response to the requirements of our esteemed members. As the demand for immediate Long Term Care industry alerts and notifications increase, SNYA members can be assured that our website will serve as that instrument.”

Southern New York Association, Inc. is comprised of sixty-two facilities with approximately 16,000 residential health care facility beds (voluntary, proprietary and government owned) that operate in the southern New York regional area. This encompasses the five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester. A major focus of our organization is to provide information and consultation to our membership to enhance quality of care for residents while assuring that members are prepared for policy and legislative changes that impact nursing homes.
