Cuteness & Kid Couture on Parade New Bark River Kids Location Celebrates with Fashion Show

Delafield, WI — Cute, cute, cute kids and their original designs by Jenny Allan and stylish clothing brands they carry will be celebrated in the grand opening of Bark River Kids’ new location. Just one door north at 810 N. Genesee Street, Allan and her business partner, Nique Hostetler will host a fashion show with kiddies wearing coats, capes, dresses, hats and more.

“We’d like this to be a really “big thank you” to our customers for making our first year a success,” says Allan.

The new-location-celebration includes a:

Fashion Show 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21
Girls and boys wearing any Bark River Kids fashion purchases are invited to walk the runway which wraps around an English garden and pagoda behind the shop;
Parents can register their little model at 262-646-3000.

Visit from the Pocket Lady 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 21
“Pick-a-pick-a-pocket, I won’t mind. Pick-a-pick-a-pocket and see what you’ll find” Children will be invited by the Pocket Lady to select from one of her many magical pockets and hear her tell a short, very lively story.

The charming new location triples the amount of retail space for Bark River Kids’ collection of children’s clothing, shoes, toys and gifts. Previously a wine store, the historic space has been transformed with apple green, raspberry and periwinkle blue paint and boasts a castle room with hand-drawn illustrations.

Hot cider and snacks will be served. Plus, select items are on sale through October 25th.

Bark River Kids, located at 810 Genesee Street, Delafield, has been in the making for four years. Allan’s 20-plus years in the graphics industry, her love for children, creativity, & quality products led her to create a shop that is also a creative resource. Children’s interiors, custom bedding, original handmade items and unique toys that promote imagination are a few of the many products Bark River Kids offers.
