70 STAR 7 APPAREL LINE SUCCESSFULLY RAISES FUNDS AND AWARENESS FOR CHARITIES; EXPECTS CONTINUED GROWTH THIS FALL

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – October 20, 2006 – In the two months since its launch and the introduction of seven limited edition designer shirts, Franklin, Tennessee-based 70 Star 7 Industries (www.70star7.com) has raised over $3,000 for local and national charities. The most popular shirt in 70 Star 7’s line up, the “Heroes & Villains” design from comic book artist Rob Schwager, sold out in just over eight hours and raised $1050 for Schwager’s charity of choice, Invisible Children, Inc. (www.invisiblechildren.com), benefiting underprivileged children in Uganda.

“We’re so excited and very encouraged about our success so far. With the new artists we’re partnering with this fall, we are expecting to raise even more money and awareness for charities during the fourth quarter,” says 70 Star 7 co-founder, Josh Cole.

Artists in the pipeline for new 70 Star 7 designs over the next several months are Chris Gardner (with House Industries), Derek Hess (Strhess Clothing), Don Clark (Asterik Studios), Brian Ewing, Mad L, Trevor Van Meter (Jumungo) and Jon Di Venti. Along with introducing new limited edition shirts from these artists, 70 Star 7 plans to launch its own line of products, to sell on an ongoing basis to raise even more funds for charity.

70 Star 7 Industries is a joint venture between Josh Cole and Chris Rader that was started with the purpose of creating awareness for local and national charities. Additionally, their goal is to create awareness for known and emerging artists and encourage consumers to get involved with charities in their local communities.
