OC Imports / LR Div. LLC announces launch of LowriderShades.com

OC Imports / LR Div. LLC has announced the launch of LowriderShades.com, a website offering a unique line of lowrider style sunglasses. The site is graphically intense "we definitely made a choice to go broadband with the site, but this is consistent with the level of detail that goes into lowrider cars, they aren't typical" says Shaun Dettloff, President of OC Imports / LR Div. LLC. Lowridershades.com currently features over 20 styles of shades. They also initiated an affiliate program as well. Mr. Dettloff said "we have also launched an affiliate program where interested websites can make a 25% commission as well as a 10% override for bringing us other sites into an affiliate relationship. We expect this to be an explosive model".

The market for Lowrider branded clothing and accessories has already been well established. LowriderShades.com is the first movement into this area for sunglasses. "Local stores are snatching up our offer for consignment right and left” says Mr. Dettloff.

The lowrider phenomenon has been steadily growing. According to Wikipedia, "Lowriders were originally unique to Chicano culture, but have since become common to urban youth culture in general." There are hotspots where activity is much greater. According to Google Trends the five hottest areas, in terms of queries on the term 'lowrider', are - in order: Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego and Los Angeles.
