Theatre of Dare presents: Meshuggah-Nuns!

Local community theater group Theatre of Dare will present the musical comedy Meshuggah-Nuns beginning Friday, October 20, 2006. The show comes from the popular series of Nunsense musicals penned by Dan Goggin. Hilarity reigns supreme when four nuns and a Jewish actor attempt to entertain on a cruise ship.

We join the cast onboard a cruise ship that has just come through a week of storms. The entertainers who are supposed to put on Fiddler On The Roof have all become seasick, with the exception of Jewish actor Howard Liszt.

The captain asks Mr. Liszt to team up with those showbiz nuns, The Little Sisters of Hoboken, to entertain the restless crowd. Join him as he teams up with Reverend Mother Superior, Sister Hubert (second-in-command), Sister Robert Anne (the street-wise ex-gang-mamber), and Sister Amnesia (the daffy country-singer).

The show plays at the Outer Banks Music Showcase, 3848 North Croatan Hwy, MP 4.5 in Kitty Hawk.

Showtimes are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm.
