Helping local breast cancer victims & their families - Lisa Marie’s Boutique is Hosting a Fundraiser for the Ellie Fund

…Lisa Marie’s Boutique of Marshfield, providers of tailoring and bridal services as well as a retail shop for unique, custom jewelry and accessories, is partnered with the Ellie Fund.

The Ellie Fund is a non-profit organization that supports breast cancer research, provides community awareness and outreach, and awards scholarships to students of families touched by breast cancer. The Ellie Fund also gives books and educational tools for breast cancer libraries and organizations.

Lisa Marie designs limited edition accessories, including jewelry, to help support the Ellie Fund. The items are sold direct to customers at Lisa Marie’s Boutique and 30 percent of the retail price of each item sold is then donated to the Ellie Fund.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
During the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month and year-round, customers can help support the Ellie Fund each time they purchase a select limited edition piece of jewelry at Lisa Marie’s Boutique. “I am a breast cancer awareness advocate, having lost my aunt to breast cancer. I became involved with the Ellie Fund because I wanted to support a smaller organization that could directly benefit Massachusetts families. The Ellie Fund is unique in that any monies donated are used right away to help breast cancer patients and their families with transportation, food, housecleaning and other expenses. Having my own business doesn’t leave me with extra time to volunteer, but I certainly have the resources and I’m glad to help out.”

Fundraiser and Shopping Event to benefit Ellie Fund
Lisa Marie’s Boutique will hold a shopping event and fundraiser with refreshments and wine at the store on Saturday October 21st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to benefit the Ellie Fund. Attendees will enjoy appetizers, wine, raffles, giveaways and shopping. 30 percent of all sales that day will go to the Ellie Fund.
