IRVINE , Calif.– DiskFaktory.com, a leader in the CD and DVD duplication industry and MakeAStar.com, a premiere provider of online contests are pleased to present an exciting online promotional contest for emerging musical talent.The contest winners will receive over $5000 in cash and prizes distributed among six music genres; Pop, Rock, Alternative, Spiritual, Country and Hip-Hop/Rap. Not only can a participant win cash and prizes, but each song entered will be heard and scored by music industry A&R experts. The Contest will have 3 Phases. The Grand Prize winner of Phase III in each genre will have his/her song showcased on the upcoming “Best of MakeaStar” CD which will be sent to record label A&R, and will receive $500 cash plus a DiskFaktory Super ProPak valued at $349.

Musicians can go online to DiskFaktory.com to view contest details and enter the contest hosted at SizzleFizzle.com. Competition groups start as soon as 8 songs are entered into the Contest. Contest Entry Fee is $35 and multiple submissions are allowed. Submission deadline is January 15, 2007. Phase I winners are automatically entered into Phase II tournaments at no extra charge. Grand prize winners are announced on February 28, 2007. Winners of each match are determined by the combination vote of a Panel of Music Judges (95% vote weight) and Fans (5% vote weight.) Judges will score each song (score of 1 through 10, 10 being best) in 3 criteria of Music, Performance and Marketability.
