Wilmington, MA March 07, 2005— Two distinctly new options added to service company's software. NBI Inc., the service leader of the window coverings industry has added two new programs to their "Request Quote" Internet application.
The 'Best Price' and 'Consultation' programs are tools that will save American consumers both time and money.
'Best Price' caters to buyers who already know which type of window blinds they want to purchase.
Visitor's selections, including sizes, colors and styles of window blinds are simultaneously submitted to multiple web site retailers who compete for the project.
The consumer no longer has to surf from site to site comparing prices for blinds, 'Best Price' does it for them.
On the other hand, the customer who is unsure of what to purchase, can submit a request through a 'Consultation' option.
A consultation, whether performed over the telephone or in the home, is provided by an NBI professional.
Knowledgeable installers go out to the customer's home, show product samples, and take proper measurements
or will make a recommendation through a phone consultation.
Richard Carlan, President of NBI, talks about how the 'Shop-at-Home' program came about.
"Higher end products of the industry, such as Hunter Douglas Silhouette® or Luminette®, are fairly complex.
Some products even have motorization capabilities, options that the homeowner can't be expected to know how to measure for."
