Yvonne Crum and CBS 11’s Tracy Rowlett (Master of Ceremonies) joined together to give their support at the Pegasus Ball “A Hollywood Night” presented by Beck Automotive Group (Prestige Ford-Garland, Park Cites Volkswagen and Lewisville Volkswagen) Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Fairmont Hotel-Dallas, which benefited Autism Treatment Centers of Texas.
Plasma screen televisions playing old Hollywood films, nine foot gold Oscar Statues and a red carpet greeted those who attended the 2006 Pegasus Ball “A Hollywood Night”. Guest dined, danced and bid on silent and live auction items, which included a 2007 VW Convertible Bug from Park Cities Volkswagen, 3 year old Quarter Horse from the Championship Bloodlines of the Tee Cross Ranch-Colorado, a dinner party by the “Royal Chef” Darren McGrady, stunning Rodney Rayner necklace and earrings from Eiseman Jewels, and a Dana Buchman Fur paired with a Custom Couture Dress from Dallas’ own August Alexander Custom Couture were just some of the items that helped surpass last year‘s total by over twenty percent!
The Pegasus Ball was part of the Roundup for Autism which was a 3-day event that spanned the metroplex including a Parade through the Historical Stockyards in Fort Worth, a Celebrity Rodeo at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo Arena and the Pegasus Ball “A Hollywood Night” at the Fairmont Hotel-Dallas.
The Roundup for Autism was founded by Bobby Norris in honor of his daughter who has autism and designed to raise funds for the Autism Treatment Center of Texas (ATC). ATC is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation that serves both children and adults with autism, and those who are multi-handicapped. ATC provides its services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The services include research, residential, educational, training, therapeutic, and occupational opportunities. ATC has served for over 30 years.
