CHICAGO – “IJ Holiday Expo,” a holiday-themed virtual show, will be held Oct. 23-27 for food industry professionals who can attend the seller’s event from the comfort of their home or office using their Internet-connected computers. The products featured will encompass center-of-the-plate, non-foods, frozen and dry goods, and like other InXpo shows, “IJ Holiday Expo” will be available around the clock for all five days so buyers can attend the show at their own convenience, night or day.

InXpo’s simple-to-use Internet platform offers nearly all the features of a physical selling event, including show-only promotions, which are special discount offers available only to those attending the virtual show. Attendees to the online show can visit vendor booths, exchange email, instant messages, and virtual business cards with vendors’ representatives, network with their peers and even win prizes.

“We are always looking for ways to make it more convenient to introduce new products to our restaurant and institutional food service customers in 15 states throughout the eastern United States,” said Mark Hogan, Director of Merchandising, IJ Company. “Offering an online show opens the event to those who don’t have the time or resources to attend our physical show.”

No novice to technology, IJ Company already utilizes state-of-the-art data systems and distribution facilities, and this partnership with InXpo only reaffirms their commitment to improve efficiencies on behalf of their customers.

InXpo’s virtual trade show platform will help IJ Company’s greatly expand their catalogue of new and existing products offered to customers online and also enable customers to view new products and displays.

“IJ Company can take advantage of InXpo’s simple online order-entry system, allowing attendees to shop for products, take advantage of show discounts, view buying histories and confirm orders without having to wade through catalogues or reams of paperwork,” said InXpo CEO Malcolm Lotzof. “We are pleased to add IJ Company to InXpo’s growing roster of food service customers.”

In addition to IJ Company, InXpo is also producing virtual tradeshows for leading food service providers U.S. Foodservice and Golbon.
