Girls Gone Weird Hanging Out With L.A.’s Finest Funny Gals

Los Angeles, CA -– Move over Russell Peters and Jeff Foxworthy, because “Girls Gone Weird” has come into town. This all-female comedy troop – the brilliant idea of LA-based comedy show creator Melinda Hill – has the best of the best line up of witty women, TV and film stars, music segments, and a whole lot of sacrilegious laughs that don’t necessarily include the typical female comedy topics of dating, drinking and male defamation.

“Girls Gone Weird” founder Melinda Hill is a seasoned veteran of the local funny circle. Not only is she appearing in the upcoming Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central, Hill commentated on the E! Channel and produced the Chat Room Comedy Show (which earned “Comedy Pick of the Week” in LA Weekly and has National Lampoon execs as fans).

The upcoming show line-up features local alternative comedy favorites Mary Lynn Rajskub (who stars as Chloe on 24 and also acted in critically-acclaimed Punch Drunk Love), Maria Bamford (of Comedians of Comedy), Jen Kirkman, Kate Flannery (of the Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm and part of the comedy musical duo “The Lampshades”), Natasha Leggero (of The Tonight Show) and Tig (of the Sarah Silverman Program and Dog Bites Man).

For only a ten spot, you’ll get laughs, liberation, music, girls and five minute short films by Channel 101 filmmaker Dawn Cody all rolled into one fantastic show. Sounds like the perfect night out.
