Racingworld Technology, the operators of 123racing.com, announced that they have signed agreements with Woodbine Entertainment, who operate two of the most prestigious tracks in Canada - Woodbine and Mohawk and The New York Racing Association (NYRA) who operate Belmont, Aqueduct and the historic Saratoga. 123racing.com will provide free to play competitions based on races at these tracks. 123racing.com members play the free competitions each week around the world. Over $125,000 has been paid out in prizes over the past few months for the free to play competitions. With the recent US Online Gambling Bill being passed by Congress, many gaming companies outside the US have suffered severe losses. In contrast, Racingworld Technology do not operate illegal gambling and are partnering with official US and Canadian tracks and authorities to offer its services to North American based players. A pay to play version in partnership with the tracks and operating authorities is in the pipeline. Revenues will be shared with the Racing Industry.
123racing.com has become an instant international success by promoting horse racing around the world in a way that has never been done before. Racingworld Technology, the company behind the 123racing.com concept, has been making inroads into US Racing over the past few months, signing agreements with the NJSEA, who operate the Meadowlands and Monmouth Park. Agreements have also been signed with Freehold Raceway and several other tracks around the US are eager to sign up.
Players on 123racing.com enter competitions for free and play for a real cash prizes. The competitions are very easy to understand and all a player has to do is pick one horse in each race on a race card and if that horse finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd, points are awarded - 3,2,1 respectively. Bonus points are given based on the win/place/show payoff. The player with the most points at the end of the race day, wins.
“We are very excited and pleased with the response from US and Canadian based tracks and authorities. Our competitions are designed to attract people back to racing, away from poker and casino sites and the US Online Gambling Bill is great for racing in general.” said Rob Earle, CEO Racingworld Technology.
“The competitions are designed to promote horse racing and this has got to be good for the sport” says US based Director John Perrotta, who himself is a breeder and owner of several race horses and operates the Thoroughbred Racing Radio Network show on the Sirius Satellite - At the Races and Beyond.
123racing.com has recently launched a TV show called 123racing.TV which airs in Australasia on the Sky Sports Network each week. The half hour long show previews and reviews competitions that are available to play on the website. Each week the expert panelists make their selections.
