October 03, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
DK has created a cool new game based on PICK ME UP, the coolest book out this autumn published in October.CLICK ME UP is an addictive, original and challenging game, released on 22nd September. The game takes the book’s rule-bending, anarchic, ‘shufflepedia’ approach to its information and transforms this style and content into a dynamic online experience. CLICK ME UP is filled with cult illustrations, sharp, memorable graphics, unparalleled playability and mini-games that incorporate elements of PICK ME UP the book.
Can you click me up? Unlock the secret tasks but watch out for the nerds!
PICK ME UP is inspired by the Internet, styled like a video game, and informed by pop culture. Every page pulses with cool, contemporary graphic design, reflecting the world that kids live in — television, comics and graphic novels, websites and computer games. This ‘Next Gen’ encyclopedia uses its design as the key to encouraging kids to really understand the connections between things in the world around them from a new and fresh perspective. The package is completed with an amazing lenticular cover by eBoy, the cult illustrator’s collective. Pick Me Up is published on 5th October.
